It is/was…that…
- I met him yesterday.
- It was yesterday that I met him.
It is/was + 被强调部分 + that + 句子其他部分
例如:
- It was John that broke the window.
👉 强调“是John,不是别人” - It is in this city that he was born.
- It was she that solved the problem.
- It was last year that they moved here.
- It was in the library that I found the book.
- It was because he was careless that he made the mistake.
- ❌ It was yesterday I met him.
- ✅ It was yesterday that I met him.
- ❌ It was John broke the window.
👉 少了 that
- She finished the work yesterday.
👉 It was yesterday that she finished the work. - They met in Paris.
👉 It was in Paris that they met.
- It was this decision that changed everything.
